One week in to my frugal fortnight, and so far so good. I seem to be running out of cat food at an alarming rate though, so I may need to spend a bit more on that – my cat is GREEDY!!. Speaking of which, for the last few nights she’s woken me up around 9-10 times (not an exaggeration) wanting in and out of the house. I really think I’m going to have to fork out for a cat door pretty soon. Le Sigh.
Next fortnight, I may be getting a small pay increase and backpay for a few weeks (we have small annual increases as well as the main raise you need to apply for). It’s not much, about $10 a week, but every little bit helps. And the backpay may be just enough to get my EF to $1500, IF I make my frugal fortnight into a frugal month! I’ll give it a go.
